Indications

Chlorphenamine is used for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching. It is also indicated for the treatment of urticaria and other allergic manifestations. This medication works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance released in the body during allergic reactions.

Composition

Each Chlorphenamine tablet contains 4 mg of chlorphenamine as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to chlorphenamine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, or in those undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the possibility of adverse interactions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Chlorphenamine to patients with chronic respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, heart diseases, or in the elderly, who may be more susceptible to the sedative effects of the medication. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of chlorphenamine.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
