Indications
Clonixinate of Lysine is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, as well as for the management of inflammatory processes. It is used in conditions such as postoperative pain, pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries, dental pain, and menstrual pain. Its analgesic action also extends to pain of inflammatory origin, providing relief in patients with conditions such as arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. This medication works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are key mediators in pain perception and inflammation.
Composition
Each ampoule of Clonixinato De Lisina 100 Mg/2 Ml contains: Clonixinate of Lysine 100 mg, excipients q.s.p. 2 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clonixinate of lysine or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe renal insufficiency, or during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those with hepatic or renal insufficiency. It is important to carefully evaluate the use of this medication in elderly patients or in those receiving concomitant treatment with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
