Indications
Clonazepam is indicated in the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorders and as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of certain types of epilepsy. It is also used to manage anxiety-related symptoms, such as insomnia and agitation. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing a calming and anticonvulsant effect, being useful in reducing the frequency and intensity of epileptic seizures.
Composition
Each tablet contains 2 mg of Clonazepam. Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
The use of Clonazepam is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines, as well as in those with myasthenia gravis, severe sleep apnea and in patients with severe respiratory insufficiency. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless absolutely necessary and under strict medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or liver disease. Prolonged use can lead to physical and psychological dependence. It is crucial to avoid abrupt discontinuation of treatment to prevent withdrawal symptoms. The need to continue treatment should be continuously evaluated, especially in vulnerable populations such as the elderly and patients with chronic diseases.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
