Indications
Clofenix 1% Cream is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation in various musculoskeletal conditions. It is particularly useful in cases of: - Arthritis - Tendinitis - Bursitis - Dislocations - Sprains - Muscle pain. Diclofenac, as the active ingredient, acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which helps reduce pain and inflammation in the affected area. Its topical application allows for localized action, minimizing systemic absorption and side effects associated with orally administered medications.
Composition
Each 100 g of Clofenix Cream contains: - Diclofenac sodium: 1 g - Excipients: sufficient quantity for 100 g.
Contraindications
The use of Clofenix Cream is not recommended in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in cases of active gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, as well as in patients with a history of NSAID-induced asthma.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, as well as in those who are being treated with anticoagulants or who have kidney or liver diseases. Do not apply to open wounds or irritated skin. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
