Indications
Clindamycin is indicated for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. This includes, but is not limited to, skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, dental infections, and some intra-abdominal infections. It is also used in the treatment of anaerobic infections and in cases of endocarditis and osteomyelitis. Clindamycin is particularly effective in the treatment of staphylococcal and streptococcal infections, as well as in patients who are allergic to penicillin.
Composition
Each capsule contains 300 mg of clindamycin (as clindamycin hydrochloride) and excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clindamycin or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of antibiotic-associated colitis, especially pseudomembranous colitis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of inflammatory bowel disease, as well as in those with hepatic dysfunction. It is important to monitor liver function during treatment. In case of severe or persistent diarrhea, the possibility of antibiotic-associated colitis should be considered and treatment should be discontinued.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
