Indications
Clamoxin is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to the action of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. It is used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis and otitis media, as well as lower respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia. It is also effective in urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and other types of bacterial infections. It is important to perform a culture and sensitivity test to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
Composition
Each Clamoxin tablet contains 875 mg of amoxicillin and 125 mg of clavulanic acid. Excipients include: corn starch, talc, colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Clamoxin is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, other penicillin-group antibiotics, or any component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of jaundice or hepatic dysfunction associated with the use of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease or in those undergoing anticoagulant treatment. Regular monitoring is recommended in patients with severe infections and in those who show signs of allergic reactions.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
