Indications
Cisapride is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders that require increased gastric motility. It is used in the management of gastroparesis, gastroesophageal reflux, and in situations where gastric emptying needs to be facilitated. It is especially useful in patients with symptoms of gastric fullness, abdominal distension, and nausea. Cisapride acts on serotonin receptors in the gastrointestinal tract, promoting motility and improving intestinal transit.
Composition
Each tablet contains 5 mg of cisapride as an active ingredient. Excipients: starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, and other inert excipients.
Contraindications
Cisapride is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cisapride or to any component of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with heart problems, such as arrhythmias or QT interval prolongation, as well as in those taking medications that may interact negatively with cisapride.
Precautions
Cisapride should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those using other medications that may affect its metabolism. Regular medical monitoring is important to monitor for possible adverse effects and adjust the dose as needed.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
