Indications
Ciprofloxacin 3 mg ophthalmic solution is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye and adjacent structures, including bacterial conjunctivitis and keratitis. This medication is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, making it a valuable option for the management of ocular infections. In cases of allergic conjunctivitis or non-bacterial ocular irritations, this medication is not suitable. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to determine the duration and frequency of treatment, as well as the specific conditions that require the use of this antibiotic. Administration must be careful to avoid contamination of the applicator and ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
Composition
Each milliliter of ophthalmic solution contains 3 mg of ciprofloxacin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product.
Contraindications
It should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or other antibiotics of the fluoroquinolone group. Its use is contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to any of the components of the formulation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with a history of seizures or central nervous system disorders. Likewise, its use in pregnant and lactating women should be evaluated, only if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Prolonged use of the medication without medical supervision is not recommended, as it may lead to the selection of resistant microorganisms.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
