Indications

Cinnarizine is indicated for the treatment of vestibular disorders, such as vertigo and dizziness. It is also used in the prophylaxis and treatment of motion sickness and in some cases of migraine. It is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist and has calcium channel blocking properties, which contributes to its efficacy in treating these disorders. Its use under medical supervision is recommended to properly evaluate the individual response to treatment.

Composition

Each tablet contains 75 mg of Cinnarizine as the active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Cinnarizine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its components. Its use is not recommended in patients with Parkinson's disease, as well as those with severe hepatic or renal function alterations. Additionally, its use is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless deemed strictly necessary by a physician.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Cinnarizine to patients with a history of depression, as it may exacerbate symptoms. It is also recommended to monitor elderly patients, as they are more susceptible to adverse effects. It is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of this medication.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
