Indications
Celecoxib is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and pain associated with primary dysmenorrhea. This medication works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which results in a reduction in the production of prostaglandins, substances that cause inflammation and pain. Additionally, it is used in the management of postoperative pain and in the treatment of chronic painful conditions.
Composition
Each capsule contains: Celecoxib 200 mg. Excipients: Starch, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to celecoxib, as well as in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to other NSAIDs. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, and in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, mild to moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment to assess renal function and blood pressure. Concomitant use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants is not recommended without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
