Indications
Candiphen-V is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by fungi, specifically those caused by Candida species. This medication is useful in the management of vulvovaginal candidiasis, a common condition that presents with symptoms such as itching, burning, and abnormal discharge. The efficacy of clotrimazole has been demonstrated in reducing these symptoms and eradicating the causative fungus, thus contributing to the restoration of vaginal health. Composition
Each Candiphen-V ovule contains 200 mg of clotrimazole as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and release in the affected area.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in case of undiagnosed vaginal infections, as inappropriate use can worsen the condition and cause adverse effects.
Precautions
