Indications

Calcium/Vitamin D3 Caps is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiencies in adults and children. It is especially useful in situations where an increased intake of these nutrients is required, such as in people with osteoporosis, menopausal women, elderly people at risk of fractures, and those with diets deficient in calcium and vitamin D. Furthermore, it can be used in the management of certain metabolic conditions affecting calcium absorption, as well as in the promotion of overall bone health.

Composition

Each capsule contains:

  • Calcium: 500 mg
  • Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol): 400 IU

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, or severe kidney diseases that compromise calcium excretion. Its use is not recommended in patients with active sarcoidosis.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases or in those being treated with diuretics that may affect calcium levels. Regular monitoring of serum calcium levels is recommended during treatment in individuals at risk of hypercalcemia.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
