Indications

Calcium/Vitamin D3 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency in adults and children. It is especially useful in cases of osteoporosis, where additional support for bone health is required. This product may be recommended for people with calcium-deficient diets, as well as for those who have limitations in nutrient absorption. Vitamin D3 promotes calcium absorption in the intestine and helps maintain adequate calcium levels in the blood, which is essential for the formation and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth.

Composition

Each tablet contains: 400 International Units (IU) of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and an adequate amount of elemental calcium, which contributes to meeting the recommended daily needs.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in those with hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria, as well as in patients with severe kidney disease or who are receiving treatment with digitalis, as it may increase the risk of toxicity.

Precautions

Caution is recommended when using this product in people with heart or kidney disease. It is important to monitor calcium levels in blood and urine in patients undergoing prolonged treatment. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, as an excess of calcium or vitamin D can lead to significant adverse effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
