Indications

C-Messel is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) deficiency in situations of increased demand, such as infectious diseases, inflammatory processes, as well as in conditions requiring an increased intake of this vitamin. It is also used as an adjunct in the treatment of diseases like scurvy, and in patients with difficulty absorbing this vitamin due to gastrointestinal pathologies. Additionally, it can be useful in promoting general health, aiding in collagen formation, and acting as a protective antioxidant against cellular damage.

Composition

Each C-Messel tablet contains 100 mg of ascorbic acid as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silica.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with conditions predisposing to kidney stone formation, due to the possible increased oxalate excretion.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of kidney stones or kidney diseases, as well as in those who require controlled vitamin C intake. In case of long-term administration, it is suggested to monitor ascorbic acid levels to avoid adverse effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
