Indications

Butylscopolamine is indicated for the treatment of abdominal cramps and spasms of the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. This medication acts as an antispasmodic, reducing the contraction of smooth muscles in the digestive and urinary systems, which helps relieve pain and discomfort associated with these conditions. It is useful in situations such as dysmenorrhea, renal and biliary colic, as well as functional bowel disorders.

Composition

Each tablet contains 10 mg of Butylscopolamine.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Butylscopolamine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Additionally, its use is not recommended in cases of closed-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, and intestinal obstruction.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as Butylscopolamine may affect heart rate. Patients with kidney or liver problems should be monitored before starting treatment. Likewise, its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated due to the lack of conclusive studies on safety in these populations.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
