Indications
Budesonide is a corticosteroid used in the treatment of various respiratory conditions. It is primarily indicated for the management and control of asthma, as well as for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Its anti-inflammatory action helps reduce inflammation in the airways, facilitating breathing and improving lung function. It is also used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and other respiratory conditions where effective inflammation control is required.
Composition
Each dose of the suspension contains Budesonide as the active ingredient, at a concentration of 64 mcg per dose. In addition, it may contain excipients that facilitate its administration and stability.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Budesonide or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of untreated respiratory infections or in patients with active tuberculosis. Caution should be exercised in patients with systemic diseases that may be aggravated by the use of corticosteroids.
Precautions
It is recommended to monitor patients undergoing treatment with Budesonide if they have pre-existing infections or lung diseases. It is important to inform the doctor about any medications the patient is taking, as well as their medical history. Patients should be periodically evaluated to adjust the dose as needed.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep away from direct light and sources of humidity. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
