Indications

Pinaverium bromide is indicated for the treatment of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal system, including irritable bowel syndrome and abdominal cramps. Its antispasmodic action allows for the relaxation of smooth muscle in the gastrointestinal tract, relieving symptoms associated with intestinal hypermotility. Its use is recommended in patients presenting with abdominal pain related to intestinal dysmotility, as well as in those with symptoms of abdominal distension.

Composition

Each tablet contains 100 mg of pinaverium bromide as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide or any of the excipients in the formula. It is not recommended in cases of obstructive diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, ulcerative colitis, or megacolon. Its use during pregnancy and lactation should be evaluated by a physician.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, as pinaverium bromide may cause cardiovascular side effects. It is important to follow medical instructions and not exceed the recommended dose. In case of adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
