Indications

Pinaverium Bromide is indicated for the treatment of functional disorders of the digestive system, specifically in cases of irritable bowel syndrome and other disorders involving gastrointestinal spasms. Its antispasmodic action helps relieve symptoms such as abdominal pain, distension, and discomfort associated with altered intestinal motility. It is used in patients experiencing recurrent episodes of abdominal cramps, as well as in those requiring management of intestinal motility in pathological conditions. Additionally, it can be useful in preparing patients for diagnostic procedures that require adequate relaxation of the gastrointestinal tract.

Composition

Each tablet contains 100 mg of Pinaverium Bromide as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pinaverium Bromide or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of intestinal obstruction, megacolon, or severe liver diseases, as well as in patients with a history of heart problems that could be exacerbated by the medication.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Pinaverium Bromide in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. Monitoring is recommended in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those being treated with other medications that may interact with its effect. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without proper medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
