Indications
Bonazin is indicated for the treatment of dizziness and vertigo associated with vestibular disorders, as well as for the control of nausea and vomiting of vestibular origin. This medication can be used in patients presenting with symptoms of motion sickness (kinetosis) and in conditions requiring the management of hyperemesis gravidarum. Meclizine acts by blocking H1 histamine receptors, which helps reduce symptoms of dizziness and nausea. Pyridoxine, for its part, can contribute to the reduction of nausea, especially during pregnancy.
Composition
Each milliliter of Bonazin contains: Meclizine 8.33 mg and Pyridoxine 16 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, or those with urinary tract obstruction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of pulmonary or cardiovascular diseases. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment with Bonazin, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of the medication. Additionally, care should be taken when operating machinery or driving vehicles, as it may cause drowsiness.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
