Indications
Bonazin is indicated for the treatment and control of nausea and vomiting associated with various conditions, including motion sickness and vertigo. Meclizine acts as an antihistamine that reduces the excitability of the vestibular system, while pyridoxine (vitamin B6) may contribute to reducing nausea. Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, can help relieve discomfort in certain gastrointestinal conditions. This medication can be used in postoperative situations or in patients undergoing chemotherapy, where nausea symptoms are common.
Composition
Each Bonazin ampule contains:
- Meclizine: 25 mg
- Pyridoxine: 50 mg
- Lidocaine: 20 mg
Contraindications
Bonazin is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of seizures or severe neurological diseases. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe hepatic or renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Bonazin to patients with cardiovascular health problems, as well as those taking other medications that may interact with its components. Monitoring is recommended for elderly patients and those with pre-existing conditions that may exacerbate the effects of the medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
