Indications
Biotricina (Tetracycline) is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is effective in the treatment of respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, and certain skin infections. Furthermore, it can be used in the treatment of diseases such as typhoid fever and brucellosis. Tetracyclines, such as Biotricina, work by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which contributes to the elimination of the infection. It is important that its use be guided by a doctor, who will determine its suitability according to the type of infection and the pathogen's susceptibility. It can also be considered in the treatment of severe acne and some oral infections.
Composition
Each Biotricina tablet contains 250 mg of Tetracycline, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Biotricina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tetracycline or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women, as it can affect fetal or infant development. It is also contraindicated in children under 8 years of age due to the risk of teeth staining and impaired bone growth.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those receiving concomitant treatments that may increase the risk of adverse reactions. Medical follow-up is recommended during treatment to assess response and detect any side effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
