Indications

Bioquidan is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive cough associated with respiratory conditions. It is effective in relieving dry cough and can be used in cases of colds and other acute respiratory processes. This medication acts as a cough reflex suppressant, helping to reduce the frequency and severity of coughing episodes. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 6 years of age, always under the supervision of a doctor.

Composition

Each 5 ml of Bioquidan contains:

  • Dextromethorphan HBr: 10 mg

Contraindications

Bioquidan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dextromethorphan or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) without adequate medical supervision. Likewise, it should not be administered together with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within two weeks after stopping such medication.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. In case of any adverse effect or allergic reaction, its use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Prolonged use without adequate medical supervision is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
