Indications
Bionol is indicated for the treatment of hyperuricemia, as well as in the prevention and treatment of gout attacks. Its use is recommended for patients who have shown high levels of uric acid in the blood and who present symptoms related to this condition, including gouty arthritis. It can also be used in the prevention of the formation of kidney stones due to urates and in the reduction of uricosuria in patients with malignant diseases receiving cytotoxic therapy, which can elevate uric acid levels in the body.
Composition
Each Bionol tablet contains 300 mg of allopurinol as an active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and preservation of the product.
Contraindications
Bionol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to allopurinol or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal insufficiency, as well as in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other uricosuric medications.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when using Bionol in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with medications that may affect renal function. It is important to monitor uric acid levels and renal function during treatment to avoid complications. In case of adverse reactions, a doctor should be consulted to evaluate the continuation of the treatment.
