Indications
Biomesina Compuesta is indicated for the treatment of various types of acute and chronic pain, including colicky abdominal pain, pain associated with gastrointestinal disorders, and postoperative pain. It is also used to relieve symptoms of muscle spasms in the digestive and genitourinary tracts. The combination of butylscopolamine, an antispasmodic, and metamizole, an analgesic, provides a synergistic effect that improves treatment efficacy in conditions requiring pain control and spasm reduction. It is advisable to consult your doctor to evaluate its use in specific conditions and to define the duration of treatment.
Composition
Each dragee contains: 10 mg of butylscopolamine and 250 mg of metamizole.
Contraindications
Biomesina Compuesta is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction, severe renal failure, agranulocytosis, or in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other analgesics. Caution should be exercised when used in patients with liver or kidney disease.
Precautions
It is recommended to use this medication under strict medical supervision, especially in elderly patients or those with pre-existing medical conditions. Additionally, care should be taken when administering to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
