Indications
Trifamox Ibl-12H is an antibiotic used for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including but not limited to: upper respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and otitis media. This medication combines the action of amoxicillin, an antibiotic from the penicillin family, and sulbactam, which acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, thus increasing the efficacy of amoxicillin against bacteria producing these enzymes. Its use is important in infections where resistance to other antibiotics is suspected.
Composition
Each tablet contains: - Amoxicillin (875 mg) - Sulbactam (125 mg)
Contraindications
Trifamox Ibl-12H is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, sulbactam, or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of viral infections, such as the flu or common cold, nor in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to penicillin-class antibiotics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, as well as in those with infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia, as they may have a higher risk of adverse reactions. Careful monitoring of renal function during treatment is recommended.
Storage
Store Trifamox Ibl-12H in its original packaging, in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, away from direct light and out of reach of children.
