Indications
Tetralisal is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections sensitive to lymecycline. It is particularly useful in the management of respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and in the treatment of moderate to severe acne vulgaris. This medication works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, resulting in their elimination and control of the infection. It can be used in cases where other antibiotics are not effective or in patients with allergies to penicillins and cephalosporins.
Composition
Each capsule contains: Lymecycline 300 mg, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lymecycline or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as children under 8 years of age due to the risk of affecting dental and bone development.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with lymecycline. Medical follow-up is recommended during treatment to avoid the appearance of adverse effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
