Indications

Tamiram is indicated in the treatment of various bacterial infections, such as:

  • Lower respiratory tract infections, including community-acquired pneumonia and exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.
  • Urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis.
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Infections caused by susceptible germs, especially in patients with comorbidities.
  • Prophylaxis of infections in immunocompromised patients.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

  • Levofloxacin (as levofloxacin hemihydrate) 750 mg.
  • Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with:

  • Known hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
  • History of tendinitis or tendon rupture related to fluoroquinolone use.
  • Severe renal failure.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in the following cases:

  • Patients with a history of central nervous system diseases, such as epilepsy.
  • Patients with renal failure.
  • Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature below 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
