Indications
Pranosine is indicated for the treatment of viral infections, including those caused by the herpes simplex virus and other viruses that affect the immune system. This medication is used in the management of viral diseases such as chickenpox, herpes zoster, and other viral infections that require a strengthening of the immune response. Additionally, its use is suggested in situations where it is necessary to improve the body's resistance to recurrent viral infections. Its immunomodulatory action can contribute to reducing the duration and severity of symptoms in viral infections.
Composition
Each Pranosine tablet contains 500 mg of Inosine Pranobex as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Inosine Pranobex or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in individuals with autoimmune diseases that could be exacerbated by immune system modulation. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease or severe kidney failure.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other immunomodulators. It is important to adequately monitor liver and kidney function during treatment. A risk-benefit assessment should be considered in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in geriatric patients.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
