Indications
Mebeciclol is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by helminths and protozoa. It is effective in the treatment of giardiasis, intestinal and extraintestinal amebiasis, as well as in infections by intestinal worms, including enterobiasis, ascariasis, hookworm, and strongyloidiasis. The combination of Mebendazole and Tinidazole allows a broad spectrum of action against various parasites, making it a drug of choice for mixed infections. Its use is recommended under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose according to the patient's age and condition.
Composition
Each Mebeciclol tablet contains 300 mg of Mebendazole and 60 mg of Tinidazole as active ingredients, as well as excipients q.s. to complete.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mebendazole, Tinidazole, or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of hematological disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver diseases, as both components can be metabolized by the liver. Monitoring is important in patients who show symptoms of toxicity or adverse effects. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
