Indications
Ivexterm is indicated for the treatment of various parasitic infections. It is used in the management of diseases such as onchocerciasis (river blindness), strongyloidiasis, and other infections caused by nematodes and ectoparasites. Ivermectin works by paralyzing and killing parasites, allowing their elimination from the body. This medication can also be used for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis, providing an effective effect against lice and mites.
Composition
Each Ivexterm tablet contains 6 mg of Ivermectin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Ivexterm should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ivermectin or any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with neurological diseases or those with severe liver conditions.
Precautions
Caution is advised when administering Ivexterm to patients with a history of allergic reactions or those who are undergoing treatment with other medications that may interact. It is important to perform medical follow-up during treatment to monitor for possible adverse effects. Use in children under 5 years of age is not recommended without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
