Indications

Fosune Granules are indicated for the treatment of conditions requiring the regulation of phosphorus levels in the body, including hypophosphatemia, as well as in cases of chronic kidney disease where adequate electrolyte management is needed. It is used in situations where phosphorus supplementation is required, especially in patients who do not obtain sufficient amounts of this mineral through their diet. This medication may be indicated in patients with malnutrition or malabsorption, as well as in those undergoing dialysis treatment.

Composition

Each sachet of Fosune Granules contains: Sodium phosphate 3 g, excipients q.s.p.

Contraindications

Fosune Granules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sodium phosphate or any of the components of the formula. Its use should also be avoided in individuals with severe hypophosphatemia, severe renal failure, or those with severe alterations in renal function, as it can cause electrolyte imbalances.

Precautions

Caution is recommended when using Fosune Granules in patients with heart disease, hypertension, or those being treated with diuretics, as it can influence fluid and electrolyte levels. It is important to adequately monitor phosphorus and other electrolyte levels during treatment. Its use in combination with other phosphorus supplements without adequate supervision from a healthcare professional is not recommended.
