Indications
Farmeban is indicated for the treatment of various gastrointestinal conditions, including dyspepsia, flatulence, and other disorders related to gas accumulation. The combination of Diiodohydroxyquinoline and Dimethicone acts synergistically, facilitating the reduction of gas production and improving intestinal transit. Additionally, it is used in cases of abdominal discomfort and colic, providing symptomatic relief and improving the patient's quality of life.
Composition
Each Farmeban capsule contains 500 mg of Diiodohydroxyquinoline and 100 mg of Dimethicone. This active ingredient profile allows for effective action on symptoms associated with gas and digestive discomfort.
Contraindications
Farmeban is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction or gastrointestinal perforation, as well as in situations requiring immediate surgical intervention.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. It is important to evaluate renal and hepatic function before starting treatment. In case of new or unusual symptoms, immediate medical consultation is suggested.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
