Indications

Dotbal Int Phase is indicated for the treatment of active pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. This medication combines four antimicrobial agents that act synergistically to eradicate the tuberculosis bacillus (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). It is used in combination therapies to prevent bacterial resistance and ensure optimal treatment efficacy. Its use is especially relevant in patients diagnosed with tuberculosis, whether in its initial phase or in relapse situations, and is fundamental for the management of the disease in populations at high risk of contagion or in prolonged treatments.

Composition

Each tablet of Dotbal Int Phase contains the following active substances:

  • Ethambutol: 75 mg
  • Isoniazid: 300 mg
  • Rifampicin: 150 mg
  • Pyrazinamide: 400 mg

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Likewise, it should not be administered to people with severe liver diseases or severe renal insufficiency without proper medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver disease and in those receiving other medications that may affect liver function. It is important to monitor liver and kidney function during treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
