Indications

Conazol Ketoconazole is indicated for the treatment of systemic and cutaneous fungal infections. It is effective against various species of fungi, including those that cause candidiasis, dermatophytosis, and other fungal infections. Its use is recommended in cases of tinea, onychomycosis, oral and esophageal candidiasis, as well as in fungal infections affecting immunocompromised patients. The administration of ketoconazole may be considered in cases requiring prolonged treatment and when other antifungals are not effective or are contraindicated.

Composition

Each Conazol Ketoconazole tablet contains 200 mg of ketoconazole as the active ingredient. It is supplemented with excipients to facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or to any of the excipients in the formula. Additionally, its use is contraindicated in patients with severe liver diseases and those who are receiving treatments with medications that may cause significant adverse interactions.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of liver diseases, as well as in those who consume excessive alcohol. The use of Conazol Ketoconazole should be monitored in patients with hormonal disorders, as it may affect testosterone levels. It is important to carry out medical follow-up during treatment, especially if any adverse reaction occurs.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
