It is used in patients who cannot adequately control their lipid levels with diet and exercise. Additionally, it is indicated for the reduction of cardiovascular event risk in patients with established cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes with additional risk factors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Zintrepid tablet contains 10 mg of Ezetimibe and 20 mg of Simvastatin as active ingredients. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eContraindications\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eZintrepid is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with active liver disease or transaminase levels more than three times the upper limit of normal.
