It is also used for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis in patients aged 2 years and older who have not responded adequately to other treatments. Additionally, Xeljanz is indicated for the treatment of moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis in adults who have had an inadequate response to conventional or biological treatments. Its use has also been approved for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis in adults who have failed conventional therapy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach tablet contains 5 mg of tofacitinib as the active ingredient.
