This medication is also used in the treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), as well as for the prevention of recurrences of these conditions. Its use must be evaluated and supervised by a physician, who will determine the duration of treatment and the appropriate dose according to the individual characteristics of each patient.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Xarelto tablet contains 2.5 mg of rivaroxaban as the active ingredient. Excipients include lactose, starch, among others, which facilitate the formulation of the medication.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eContraindications\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eXarelto is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rivaroxaban or any of the excipients in the product.
