It is also used in patients with mantle cell lymphoma who have received at least one prior therapy. Its mechanism of action is based on proteasome inhibition, leading to the accumulation of pro-apoptotic proteins and, consequently, to cell death in tumor cells.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Velcade ampoule contains 3.5 mg of Bortezomib, as well as necessary excipients for its formulation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eContraindications\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVelcade is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bortezomib or any component of the formula.
