Its use is recommended in patients who have not achieved control of their uric acid levels with other medications or who are intolerant to them. This medicine works by inhibiting the enzyme xanthine oxidase, which reduces the production of uric acid in the body, thus helping to decrease gout attacks and prevent tophi formation. It can also be used in patients with hyperuricemia associated with oncological diseases or treatments that may elevate uric acid levels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Turazive tablet contains 80 mg of febuxostat as the active ingredient.
