It is also used in the treatment of chronic heart failure in patients with reduced ejection fraction, who have sinus rhythm and a heart rate greater than 70 beats per minute, as an adjunct to standard therapy. The reduction in heart rate can help decrease the risk of hospitalization and cardiovascular events in these patients.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Procoralan tablet contains 5 mg of Ivabradine as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, talc, among others.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eContraindications\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProcoralan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ivabradine or any of the excipients in the formulation.
