It is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. It is also indicated in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, which helps prevent ulcer recurrence. Additionally, Prazolan may be useful in the prevention of ulcers related to the prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach tablet contains 40 mg of pantoprazole.
