It is also indicated for the prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers in patients requiring treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Additionally, it is used in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics, as part of a treatment regimen for peptic ulcers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach tablet contains 40 mg of esomeprazole (as esomeprazole magnesium).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eContraindications\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or any of the excipients in the formula.
