This medication combines the action of two molecules: Alogliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, which helps to increase the amount of insulin produced by the body in response to meals, and Pioglitazone, which improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues. It is used in patients who do not achieve adequate control with metformin alone, or in combination with other oral antidiabetics, or as monotherapy when metformin cannot be used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach tablet contains 25 mg of Alogliptin and 30 mg of Pioglitazone.
