It is also used in patients with congenital, cyclical, or idiopathic neutropenia, as well as in patients requiring bone marrow transplantation. Additionally, it may be indicated in situations of neutropenia associated with infections or in HIV patients with low neutrophil counts. The main objective of Granuven is to reduce the risk of infections in these patients by increasing white blood cell production.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach syringe contains Filgrastim, a recombinant protein that acts as a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor.
