Mometasone, its active ingredient, acts by reducing inflammation, relieving redness and itching of the skin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach 100 g of Elomet Ointment contains 0.1 g of mometasone (as mometasone furoate) as the active ingredient.
