Erdosteine acts by facilitating the elimination of secretions and improving respiratory function by reducing mucus viscosity. Its use is indicated in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and in flu syndromes where respiratory congestion is a predominant symptom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach 5 ml of suspension contains 175 mg of erdosteine.
