These infections may include:\nlower respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis and pneumonia; ear, nose, and throat infections, such as otitis media and sinusitis;\nurinary tract infections, including cystitis and pyelonephritis; and uncomplicated gonorrhea. Cefixime acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis,\nresulting in the death of susceptible bacteria.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Denvar capsule contains 400 mg of cefixime as the active ingredient.
