It is also used in the treatment of gastric emptying disorders, such as gastroparesis, and in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux. Its use may be considered in situations of postoperative vomiting and in cases of migraine where gastrointestinal symptoms are prominent. Metoclopramide works by blocking dopamine receptors, which contributes to the reduction of nausea and increased intestinal motility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eComposition\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Carnotprim ampoule contains 10 mg of metoclopramide in a 2 ml volume. It should not be administered to individuals with intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, or perforation, as well as those with pheochromocytoma.
